Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Gerizim Digital Ltd(“Gerizim Digital”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales. By creating an account or using Taleemia (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Users under 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• You must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not, you may not use the Service.

• One personal account per user. Institutional accounts may have multiple staff seats.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• Do not share your login or let anyone else use your account.
• Tell us immediately at legal@gerizimdigital.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly (or annually, where offered).
• You can cancel any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not refund partial months, except where required by your statutory rights (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent local law).
• We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

You agree not to:

• Upload, share or sell copyrighted material you do not own or have a licence to use.
• Harass, bully, defame or threaten other users.
• Send spam, run pyramid schemes, or pretend to be someone you are not.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to break the security of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under UK or Pakistan law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You own the content you upload to Taleemia — lessons, files, photos, videos, posts and any other material. By uploading it, you grant Gerizim Digital a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and transmit that content for the sole purpose of running and improving the Service.

We may remove content that violates these Terms, our community policies, or applicable law. Where possible we will give you a chance to appeal.

If you sell lessons, courses or other content through Taleemia's marketplace:

• You receive 95% of the sale price. Gerizim Digital retains 5% as a platform fee.
• Payouts are sent weekly to your registered bank or mobile-wallet account.
• We may withhold payments where a refund dispute, fraud investigation, or legal claim is under way. Withheld funds are released once the matter is resolved.
• You are responsible for paying your own income tax on creator earnings in your country of residence.

Payments are processed by our payment partners on behalf of Gerizim Digital Ltd:

• Stripe— UK and international cards.
• PayPro / Safepay— Pakistan-issued cards.
• JazzCash and Easypaisa— Pakistani mobile wallets.
• Direct bank transfer — available for annual institutional plans.

All payments are made to Gerizim Digital Ltd, regardless of which gateway is used.

Currency, conversion and international fees

All Taleemia plans are quoted and charged in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). For transparency, our pricing pages also display the approximate equivalent in British Pounds (GBP) at a fixed display rate of £1 ≈ Rs 370 (reviewed periodically to reflect the prevailing mid-market rate).

Because Taleemia is operated by Gerizim Digital Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom, all subscription revenue is settled in GBP into our UK business bank account. Stripe and our other international payment partners convert PKR to GBP automatically at the time of settlement, using their own published exchange rates and processing fees.

Important for customers paying with a non-PKR card: the amount that appears on your bank or card statement may be slightly higher than the GBP figure shown on our pricing page. This is because:

• Your issuing bank or card network applies its own currency-conversion rate, which is normally less favourable than the mid-market rate.
• Some banks charge an additional international transaction fee or cross-border fee (typically 1–3% of the transaction amount).
• Foreign exchange rates fluctuate daily. The rate at the moment you click “Subscribe” may differ slightly from the rate on our display.

The GBP figure shown on Taleemia's pricing pages is provided as a courtesy estimate only. The authoritative charge is always the PKR amount shown on the Stripe checkout page immediately before you confirm payment. By proceeding with checkout you acknowledge and accept that the final amount debited from your account in your local currency may vary slightly due to the factors above, and that Gerizim Digital Ltd is not responsible for fees charged by your bank or card issuer.

• We will refund subscription fees within 7 days of purchase if you experience a material technical issue we cannot resolve.
• For digital downloads (e.g. marketplace lessons), refunds are not offered for a change of mind once the content has been accessed, consistent with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent law.
• Faulty, mis-described or undelivered digital content will be refunded under your statutory rights.

• You can delete your account at any time from your settings.
• We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms with 14 days written notice, or immediately in cases of fraud, abuse, or risk to other users.
• After termination you have a 30-day window to export your data before it is permanently erased (see our Privacy Policy).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.

If you are a consumer based in Pakistan, you also retain the protection of mandatory local consumer-protection rules, and may bring claims in your local courts where permitted by law.
